Disney travel options

The travel experts at Disney have thought of it all. There is a Disney travel option for every activity, location, and pricing option. If you have never experienced a Disney vacation, no matter where you go you can expect only the highest level of service, atmosphere, and organization. If you already know what to expect with Disney but aren't aware of the options, here is an overview of what they have to offer.

If you are interested in visiting one of their theme parks, Disney has six to choose from. There is the original Disneyland California, which was significantly expanded in 2001 to include not only Disneyland Park and Hotel, but to now also offer Disneyland California Adventure Park, Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa, as well as Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel.

You can also visit the iconic Disney World Resort in Orlando Florida which is of course the paramount Disney experience consisting of six parks within itself as well as 21 hotels and four shopping, entertainment, and dining areas (Downtown Disney, Pleasure Island, ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, and Disney Quest).

If you are an international traveler, there are plenty of options for you too. Disneyland Paris consists of three parks, seven hotels, and the Disney Village to add some Disney magic to your already wondrous European trip.

Asia has the honor of housing three of the six Disney parks, one in Tokyo, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. Tokyo is the largest of the three with two parks, three hotels, and its Ikspiari dining, shopping, and entertainment complex.

Next in line is Hong Kong with the Disneyland Park, two hotels, and its Inspiration Lake Recreation Center. The Shanghai location consists of only the theme park by itself.

If you would like to experience the magic of Disney in a more low key atmosphere I would definitely suggest giving one of their stand alone resorts a try. Disney has built the Aulani Resort and Spa in Hawaii, as well as the Vero Beach Resort in Florida, and its Hilton Head Island Resort to give you and your family the escape you are looking for without the hustle and bustle of their theme parks.

Disney Cruises also offer a great option for those of you who are sea worthy. The entertainment, organization, and level of service on their ships make them like a floating Magic Kingdom. On a Disney Cruise, kids get to romp around with the characters; while their parents get to relax on the beach, take in a spa service, or see a broadway quality show.

Last but definitely not least, Disney has two more options a lot of you may not be aware of. Adventures by Disney and the Disney Vacation Club give travelers the flexibility to see the world “Disney style.” Adventures by Disney is a travel service, which puts together guided tours of various desirable destinations around the world so you and your family can broaden your horizons without a care. First class travel and lodging accommodations along with well planned and expertly guided tours make for a truly unforgettable experience.

The Disney Vacation Club however is something of a gift to yourself and generations to come. It allows you to own a piece of the Disney magic for yourself. Once you are an owner you can travel to any number of the affiliated destinations around the world and all shares are fully transferrable to any beneficiaries you might have.
