Disney star Bella Thorne debuts ‘Call It Whatever’ video

Get ready to see a lot more of Bella Thorne, despite the fact that her Disney series is no more. The 16-year-old actress-singer, who starred as CeCe Jones on Disney Channel’s recently canceled original series “Shake It Up,” has just released her music video for the song “Call It Whatever.”

The teen celeb dons a pink waitress outfit for the video clip, which is set a '50s-themed diner."Call It Whatever" is the first single from Throne’s upcoming debut album of the same name, which is slated to be released next month. You can see the “Call It Whatever” video here.

In addition to her new album and video, Thorne has several upcoming projects in the works. She’ll star in the highly anticipated “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” with Steve Carell and Jennifer Garner. She has major roles in the upcoming movies “Big Sky and “Home Invasion.” And she also stars in the just-released Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore big screen flick, “Blended.”

In an interview with Women’s Wear Daily, Thorne, who plays Sandler’s tomboy daughter Hillary, said, “Adam Sandler said he was thinking of me when he wrote the role. I had an audition where I had to look like a boy. I’m already a tomboy. They did face shading and glued a wig to my face and head. I was in my makeup chair for two hours every day.”

She also said she bonded with former child star Barrymore: “Drew calls me Pickles. She’s a cross between a mom and a sister,” Thorne revealed. “They thinned my hair for the part and Drew saw how uncomfortable I was. She gave me hair vitamins.”

In addition to her singing and acting roles, Thorne teamed up with her sister to create a collection of occasion dresses for proms and quinceañeras. The Sherri Hill pieces were part of a recent runway show at Miami Fashion Week.
