Save the date! In just two months, everything will be coming up rosy as Walt Disney World's EPCOT will usher in the 20th International Flower and Garden Festival presented by HGTV. This annual spring event is scheduled to be in full bloom from March 6 - May 19, 2013. Making festival debuts this year are:

- An interactive play area for children decorated in a red and white circus theme that is based upon the upcoming Disney film, "Oz: The Great and Powerful."
- Topiaries of Mickey and his pals in a backyard barbecue setting will greet guests at the park's entrance. Other character topiaries to be displayed around the park are: Mike and Sully from the Disney-Pixar movie "Monsters University" (set for release in June 2013), Disney Channel favorites Phineas and Ferb, and the Fairies of Pixie Hollow.
- An illuminated area of gardens in both the World Showcase and Future World that will light up festival nights.
Park guests will also have the opportunity to attend home and garden seminars hosted by HGTV celebrity designers every weekend during the festival. Those scheduled to appear include: Meg Caswell of "Meg's Great Rooms", Chris Lambton of "Going Yard" and Brandon Johnson of "My Yard Goes Disney."
Another festival favorite, the Flower Power Concert series will be held each weekend at the open-air America Gardens Theatre. Some of the bands that will be rocking the crowd this year: Chubby Checker & The Wildcats, Nelson, and The Village People.
