Disney rabbit racist? Family sues for white rabbit not hugging child (Video)

Do you think that the Disney rabbit is racist? One family does and they are suing Disney for it. On Feb. 7, Fox News reported that one family is suing Disneyland and saying that one of their people in a costume is racist.

This family went to the Disneyland park and their kids were really excited when they saw the White Rabbit. The family is black and one of their children ran up to hug the rabbit, but it turned its back to the child. Their other child tried to shake the rabbits hand and it just pushed it away.

The father of these children, Jason LeRoy Black Sr., said he had wondered if they were not allowed to touch children but later found out this was not the case. They were offered VIP passes which they turned down and also another $500 if they would sign a waiver, but they are going through with the lawsuit.

Their attorney spoke out saying: "What's clear to me, I can't think of anything other than racism that could be the cause," said Dan Gilleon, the Blacks' attorney. "What it tells us is racism is even in places like Disneyland."

Do you believe that this is a racism case? Sound off in the comments.
