Incredible ice skating and Disney’s animated movie “Frozen” are a natural match. And it IS happening. Disney On Ice presents “Frozen” at the Amway Center for seven performances September 5-7, 2014.

The Academy Award-winning story of two royal sisters, Anna and Elsa, is filled with magic and love and some great laughs, too. Off on a mission to find her magical sister Elsa, kindhearted Anna is joined by Kristoff and his loyal reindeer Sven, and the hilarious snowman Olaf. Meanwhile Elsa is free to discover the limits of her powers. The tale focuses on love conquering fear and has become a favorite of kids around the world. Sing along with favorites like “Let It Go” and “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” and enjoy the show.

“In our more than 30 years of producing Disney On Ice shows, Feld Entertainment has been waiting for a film like this,” says producer Nicole Feld. “While it might seem obvious that ‘Frozen’ is well suited for the ice, this Disney On Ice production will touch audiences emotionally through innovative show elements and world-class skating.”

Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse present the tale along with special appearances by Disney princesses and favorite characters from Disney/Pixar’s “Toy Story” and “Finding Nemo” and “The Lion King.” They all come together to prove that true love is the greatest power of all.

Performances are at 11:00 a.m., 3:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m.

Tickets start at $16 and can be purchased at Ticketmaster or by calling 800-745-3000. See the Disney On Ice website for more information, (http://www.disneyonice.com).
