If you saw the movie "Tangled," you remember the tavern full of thugs. They come to life in the new Festival of Fantasy parade, which debuts in the Magic Kingdom in March. Click the slideshow accompanying this article to see what their costumes will look like.

The thugs mugged it up for the cameras at a special media preview on February 10. When the parade goes live, they'll accompany the 36-foot long "Tangled" float, with Rapunzel and Flynn Rider on board. Rapunzel's signature hair will be woven throughout the float, while the Snuggly Duckling thugs perform antics to delight the crowd.

The thugs' costumes look hot and heavy, but they're actually designed to be as comfortable as possible in the Florida heat, since the parade will run all summer in 90+ degree days. Talented designer Mirena Rada paid attention to comfort as well as detail when she created these visually stunning works. For example, one of the thug costumes required that vinyl be cut into 75 separate diamond-shaped pieces. It was then stitched onto cool max fabric.

Rada also designed 27 different fabrics for the various costumes accompanying all the floats with the help of Costuming Graphic Artist Paul Jordan.
