What would a Disney parade be without a bright, joyful happy ending? That's exactly what you'll get in the new Festival of Fantasy Parade, which kicks off in the Magic Kingdom in March. The media got a look at several of the floats and costumes at a February 10 preview, including the cute and colorful characters featured in this article's slideshow.

The Bubble Girl and Cha Cha Girl both accompany Mickey's Airship in the parade's grand finale. Festival of Fantasy ends with a 90 foot long caravan of characters, with old favorites like Pluto, the Mad Hatter, Dumbo, Pinocchio, Snow White, and of course Mickey Mouse himself. He and Minnie will be perched up high in his airship, a giant hot air balloon.

Both Mickey and Minnie have special new costumes designed by Mirena Rada, who created all the costumes for this impressive new entertainment offering. She put an amazing level of detail into all of her work. For example, the Bubble Girl's headpiece is actually made from three separate clown wigs, which were blended together by the Creative Costuming Millinery Team. Meanwhile, Cha Cha Girl sports a four-colored wig created from 148 yards of horsehair that's rolled, pressed, and curled by hand. Their costumes are heavily inspired by the Storybook Circus area in Fantasyland.

Minnie herself will have lots of bling, too. Her dress and hat will have 95 gold lame dots that were cut out, blinged out, and sewn onto her clothes.
