The newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Disney Fantasy, earned the top honor – Best Large Ship – in the Cruise Critic 2013 Cruisers’ Choice Awards! The Disney Fantasy also received the top spots in four other categories – Best Entertainment, Best Public Rooms and Best Service, Large Ship Best Cabins.
The Disney Fantasy will be sailing out of Port Canaveral the rest of 2013 and 2014 and the itineraries will be the Eastern and Western Caribbean.
The Eastern Caribbean ports of call include St. Maarten, St. Thomas (with excursions to St. John), Disney's Castaway Cay, some dates will include San Juan. The Western ports of call include Grand Cayman, Costa Maya, Cozumel, Disney's Castaway Cay and 2014 Cozumel, Grand Cayman, Falmouth, Jamaica, Disney's Castaway Cay.
The Disney Fantasy is the sister ship to the Disney Dream. The ship's capacity is 4,000 passengers, and 1,450 Cast and Crew Members. Walking around this beautiful ship you will feel the influence of the golden age of cruising during the 1930's, with attention to detail and customer service that only Disney can provide.
For the West Palm Beach residents Port Canaveral is a little over 2 hour drive parking is available at the port for around $15 per day.
