Comcast Cablevision of Mobile and other providers of video-on-demand services had plans to make the Disney Family Movies On Demand service available to all of their customers from Tuesday, January 15th until Monday, January 21st, without charging customers who were not subscribed to the service just before that time period (the charge for regular service was $5.99 per month). Residents of Mobile County who receive cable TV programming from Comcast Cablevision of Mobile would be able to access the service through either a cable TV set-top box from Comcast with a video-on-demand service or through Comcast's Internet service by visiting the Disney Family Movies On Demand section of the World Wide Web site Xfinity TV.
