Disney Cruise Line wins Conde Nast 2013 Readers Poll

You are probably less familiar with Conde Nast as you are with let's say People magazine; unless you are a travel nerd like me. Conde Nast is the "it" magazine for all things travel; what's hot, what's not, locations the celebrities are frequenting (not that we could afford them anyway) and extensive "best of" lists. Disney Cruise Line has won four spaces on the "20 Best Large Ships" list in the 2013 readers poll. The first three slots are filled with the Disney Magic, Disney Wonder and Disney Dream (respectively) and the newest ship, the Disney Fantasy, which has been sailing for less than a year, won the eighth slot.

The annual poll included more than 46,000 Conde Nast Traveler readers rating 376 ships on a 100-point scale. The scale included seven criteria: Activities/Facilities, Cabins, Crew/Service, Design/Layout, Food/Dining, Itineraries/Schedule and Shore Excursions.

The Disney Magic, the first place winner, had a total of 89.9 points out of 100, the Wonder (second place) had 89.6, the Dream (third place) 89.5 and the Fantasy (eighth place) 84.8.
The Disney ships ranked the highest in service, activities and cabins. The Disney service ranked more than ten points higher than several other winners on the poll!

While in my heart, I have no doubt that Disney Cruise Line offers nothing but the best to all of its guests on each cruise, and have experienced such first hand it’s nice to know that other cruisers feel the same and have given these ships the credit they deserve.
