Disney Cruise Line unveils new 2014 itineraries and ports

The first half of Disney Cruise Line 2014 itineraries was released late last year but the second half of the itineraries remained unannounced and had us all waiting with baited breath. Feb. 12 Disney Cruise Line announced the remainder of the 2014 itineraries which includes new home ports in Venice (Italy) and San Juan (Puerto Rico) and various new ports of call.

2014 Itineraries include:

Mediterranean from Venice and Barcelona

  • Departures from May 31-Aug. 30
  • Disney Magic
  • Venice, Italy will serve as the home port for select sailings where the ship will remain overnight.
  • New ports of call include Katakolon, Rhodes, Heraklion (Crete), Santorini and Corfu, Greece and Catania

Caribbean from San Juan

  • Departures Sept. 20-Oct. 11
  • Disney Magic
  • San Juan will serve as the home port for four sailings to the Southern Caribbean
  • Ports of call include Grenada, the “Spice Isle”; a brand new port for Disney Cruise Line

Alaska from Vancouver

  • Departures May 24-Sept. 1
  • Disney Wonder
  • Departing from Vancouver to Tracy Arm, Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan.
  • One select sailing is 9-nights and includes a stop at Sitka, another first for Disney Cruise Line

Bookings for Platinum and Gold Castaway Club Members begins at 8:00am E.T. on Feb. 13. Bookings open to all guests on Feb. 14.
