Disney Cruise Line has dominated the Large Ships category of the 2014 Conde Nast Traveler Top 100 Cruise Ships in the World Reader's Poll. (See website).

The cruise line's four ships took the top three spots and fifth-place as well, ranking ahead of ships by Celebrity, Princess, and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Only the Celebrity Eclipse was able to slip into the top 5 ranking.

Disney Fantasy received top honors with an overall score of 91.2, and the Disney Wonder and Disney Dream were close on her heels. The Disney Magic came in at number five -- it's unclear whether the poll took into account the ship's late fall and winter sailings after an extended "re-imagining" to renovate the ship and add new features took place.

In December 2013, U.S. News and World Report gave Disney Cruise Line the top spot for "Best Cruise Line for Families" and "Best Cruise Lines in the Caribbean" in their annual Best Cruise Rankings. They also awarded Disney Cruise Line second place for "Best Cruise Lines for the Money," which took into account overall value for a vacationer's dollar.

Also in 2013, Travel+Leisure awarded Disney Cruise Line first place in "Best Mega-Ship cruise line for families" for the fifth consecutive year.

Disney Cruise Line's other 2013 awards for top cruise travel include those from J.D. Power and Associates ("Cruise Line Satisfaction Award"), the UK magazine Cruise International's "Best For Families" and "Best for Entertainment" awards, and a top spot for the Disney Fantasy in Cruise Critic's Cruiser's Choice Awards in "overall best cruise experience."

In 2014, Disney Cruise Line itineraries include Alaska, the Mediterranean, the Panama Call, the Bahamas, and the Eastern and Western Caribbean.
