DCL will offer its themed Halloween on the High Seas cruises on select sailings to the Caribbean and Bahamas in September and October. In making the announcement, Disney Parks Blog cited the popularity of the event on the Disney Fantasy in expanding the party to the three other Disney ships: Disney Dream, Disney Wonder and Disney Magic.

Halloween on the High Seas begins in September. The fun features two parties: Mickey's Mouse-querade party; a family-friendly atrium Halloween Party that takes place with Disney characters and Halloween Isn't Just for Kids, an adult-only party with a costume contest. These are in addition to Pirate Night.

These cruises also feature “Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas” Sing and Scream, an interactive evening and meet-and-greet character experience with the movie’s Jack Skellington and Sally. Haunted Stories of the Sea provides a campfire-style storytelling experience that takes place on deck. An atrium Creepy Cabaret party will perform Halloween-themed music “live,” even if the musicians are ghostly.

Other themed events include a number of kids- and family-oriented activities such as mask-making and pumpkin-carving. And what Halloween would be complete without some trick-or-treating opportunities and other “Ghoulish Delights” that just happened to be edible? Halloween on the High Seas will include that, too, as well as Halloween décor throughout the ships – notably a Pumpkin Tree that transforms throughout the cruise.

Disney Cruise Line’s Halloween on the High Seas takes place aboard teh Disney Magic, which sails three-, five- and seven-night Bahamian and Caribbean cruises departing Sept. 27 to Oct. 26. The themed cruises for the Disney Wonder are four-, five- and six-night Bahamian cruises that depart Sept. 26 to Oct. 31. Halloween on the Disney Dream takes place during three- and four-night Bahamian cruises, departing Sept. 7 to Oct. 31. And the holiday fun on Disney Fantasy is part of its seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises departing Sept. 6 to Oct. 25.

DCL also offers other sailings that celebrate fall and winter holidays. There are itineries that celebrate Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s.
