Disney Channel and Martin Chase Productions are teaming up once again to bring Mark Peter Hughes' novel "Lemonade Mouth" to life as a Telefilm.
Producer Debra Martin Chase is the Primetime Emmy Award nominated producer of the "Cheetah Girls" films, as well as "The Princess Diaries" films, and the Walt Disney Television 1997 version of "Cinderella", among others.
Debra Martin Chase is a Hollywood producer and former lawyer who has been named by Savoy magazine as one of the 100 most influential African Americans in the United States and by Black Enterprise magazine as one of the Top 50 Powerbrokers in Hollywood. She has been honored by Ebony Magazine with the Television and Film Award for Outstanding Women in Marketing and Communications, as well as Essence Magazine for their 50 African American women shaping the world list.
April Blair has penned the script. The movie's title, and the band’s name in the book, comes from a High School freshman class protest to save the school’s organic lemonade machine.
Filming will begin mid-July, 2010 in New Mexico. Numerous acting roles and extras will be cast for high school aged teens of any ethnicity.

To get an audition you have to send in a headshot and a resume... and if they are interested they will give you a call to audition!! And even after th 1st audition they have callbacks do you have to make it through that, so good luck!!!:)

im already an extra for this movie i got to meeet all the actreses and actors i meat bridget somethin from good lick charlie, stevie from wizards of wavelry place, and adam from zeke and luther it was awesome i went backstage with them and everything i was going to cry its a very big thing for me...........................Im a soon to be moviestar for sure : )
