The days of the paper Annual Pass are coming to an end. Walt Disney World has opened the Oddessy Center in Epcot to convert paper Annual Passes to new "touch to enter" technology.
Muck like the current Key to the World Card that Disney resort guests receive, these credit card like cards are being coded with the Annual Passholders essential information so they are integrated with the new technology spreading across the parks.
Annual Passholders must present their original pass with a photo i.d. in order to process the upgrade. Choose from Mickey, Minnie, Donald or Goofy on your new "key" and then tap away till your heart is content.
No official information has been released on when the Magic Bands will be distributed to Annual Passholders, but the Magic Bands (and the adorable packaging) are on display inside of the Oddessy Center.
Additional "upgrade" locations may magically appear throughout the parks at a later date but for night now, Epcot is where you can find the future technology for Annual Passholders, rather appropriate I think, don't you?
