Disney Animal Kingdom welcomes Wilderness Explorers coming soon (Photos)

“The wilderness must be explored!” What fan of Disney/Pixar’s popular animated film “Up,” has not repeated those famous words, along with the sound of an eagle, or was that a hawk? Families everywhere have flocked to theatres when the movie first came out and watched the DVD repeatedly, even without their kids. Coming this spring to Walt Disney World’s Animal Kingdom in Orlando, Florida is the adventure every Up fan has been waiting for.

Disney announced that park guests will be able to experience the adventures that Russell had. The difference is that young (and the young at heart) Wilderness Explorers will be able to use the entire Disney Animal Kingdom Park with field guides in hand to complete challenges and earn more than 30 Wilderness badges on their explorations.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a mix of theme park and animal zoo with trains, roller coasters, musical theatrical shows and jeep safari’s to see real live animals without cages!
