Dishonored 'The Knife of Dunwall' DLC teased with new image

Dishonored devs Bethesda and Arkane Studios today released a new image via Twitter regarding the game's upcoming two-part DLC, which read "news tomorrow." The add-on content marks the first story-based DLC for the game thus far, and it seems that players won't be taking on the role of protagonist Corvo this time around.

The DLC, dubbed "The Knife of Dunwall," will have more of a focus on the mysterious Daud character and his band of friendly neighborhood assassins. In the image, players are seeing through the eyes of Daud as the group gets ready to move on a target, in a scene that marks the catalyst of events in Dishonored's main story line.

The story will follow Daud as he takes on assassination missions in new environments around Dunwall and utilizes his unique weapons and powers in different combinations, much the same as Corvo. Daud will have a Summon Assassin power, which will allow players to summon whalers, and uncover hidden objects with his Void Gaze power. Arkane have decided to further increase replayability in this DLC by letting the choices you make as Daud affect the ending you get.

The second part of the DLC will be called "The Brigmore Witches," the details of which Bethesda will divulge at a later date. "The Knife of Dunwall" will be released on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on April 16 for 800 MSP, or $9.99.
