Discovery is gearing up for a new live event that everyone will be watching. On Feb. 5, E! Online shared how the network is planning this event that will happen in May. Wingsuit jumper Joby Ogwyn will actually jump off Mt. Everest and it is all going to happen live.

Discovery actually had a huge success when they aired the tightrope walk across the Grand Canyon with Nik Wallenda. After this success, they would be crazy not to take on another project like this when the opportunity came up. Everyone loves watching things go down live and never knowing what could happen.

They will air two specials that are each one hour long. This will explain the way that Joby trains. Then the live event will be two hours long and will air in May on Discovery. The wingsuit will have cameras all over it and he will actually fall over 10,000 vertical feet at speeds of over 150 mph. This is going to be a must see event as Joby Ogwyn fulfills his dream on "Everest Jump Live" in May.
