The Discovery Channel ruled Wednesday night again with a powerful one-two punch, according to the Nielsen cable television ratings for Wednesday.
Among original cable programming, "Moonshiners" was the top program again, drawing a 1.5 rating in the coveted 18-49 year-old target demographic. The show drew 3.18 million viewers overall. That's down a tenth of a point and 120,000 viewers from last week, but still number one overall.
"Amish Mafia" was again the second-rated program, with a 1.4 rating and a night-high 3.20 million viewers total. That's down two-tenths from last week's 1.6 rating. The rerun of "Amish Mafia" drew a 0.8 rating.
FX's "American Horror Story" was third among originals with a 1.3 rating, down two-tenths from last week.
Comedy Central's new line up finished with good ratings, with "Workaholics" (1.1 rating) and new addition "The Kroll Show" (0.8).
