Discover the Wolf Moon at Cerrillos Hills State Park

Take a hike in the beautiful moon light at Cerrillos Hills State Park. The full moon in January is the "Wolf Moon" and Ranger Peter Lipscomb will be leading a hike under its shine this Saturday, January 26 at 6 p.m. Peter has lots of lunar facts and folklore to share, as well as some naked eye astronomy. He has been known to howl on these occasions, in which case the best thing to do is howl along with him. Dress in layers and bring a flashlight.

Meet at the main entrance to the park, 1/2 mile north of Cerrillos Village on County Road 59. Map: http://www.emnrd.state.nm.us/SPD/images/locationmap.jpg

Cost to enter the park is $5 per vehicle, exact change or check only. Free with a State Parks Annual Day Use pass.
