Gwinnett Place Book Blast brings the importance of literacy to the forefront

The Simon Kidgits Club at Gwinnett Placeis bringing children’s literacy to the forefront during a fun, engaging and free adventure perfect for the whole family. Local celebrities—including Atlanta’s own Falcons Cheerleaders and Cookie Mouse from If You Give a Mouse a Cookie—willbe in attendance. Storytellers will be reading from a selection of books including The Little Engine That Could, Strawberry Shortcake: My First Sleepover and Shoes.

Pint-sized readers won’t want to miss out on Book Blast’s special prizes and giveaways! In addition, attendees can catch a sneak peek of the all-new The Little Engine that Could movie coming to DVD March 22!

Gwinnett Place invites children to bring a new or gently used book to donate to charity and join us to learn about The Orphan Campaign, a nonprofit organization aiming to help place new/clean shoes on the feet of orphans around the world. Join us as we give back to the community through fun and learning!
