Here’s something a little different and intriguing for all the foodies out there.
Tin Roof Bistro presents A Taste of Croatia Wine Dinner on Wednesday, February 27, starting at 7 p.m.
Croatian wines are getting quite a bit of press these days and this is a great opportunity to sample them alongside traditional Croatian cuisine.
A tray pass will offer a swiss chard flatbread with goat cheese and prosciutto.
The appertif consists of Dalmacija Vino Prosek Salad – a grilled octopus salad with arugula, red onion & butterball potatoes – and will be paired with Coronica Malvasia 2011 from Istria, Croatia.
The middle course will be stuffed cabbage rolls with ground lamb and rice and will be paired with a Bibich G6 Riserva, Grenache 2009.
The main course features grilled Cevapcici sausages with red pepper ajvar and grilled garlic bread and will be paired with a Milos Stagnum, Plavac Mali 2005.
Dessert is Potica – a poppy seed roll - and will be served with coffee.
The price is $49 per person exclusive of tax and gratuity.
