The Fort Worth Convention Center, built in 1968, is a distinctive landmark in the Hell’s Half Acre area of downtown Fort Worth. For 45 years, it’s been an inviting place for residents and visitors to gather for great meetings and events. At one time, it was even home to the Fort Worth Fire and Fort Worth Brahmas ice hockey teams.
Last weekend’s Tarrant County RV Show was a big hit for thousands of people planning their summer vacations and road trips. This weekend, the convention center will be filled with rhythmic dances and shouts of “We’re Number One” as it hosts the American Cheerleaders Association National Championship.
The Fort Worth Convention Center is located in the heart of downtown Fort Worth, is within walking distance of great hotels and restaurants, and boasts more than 300,000 square feet of event space, so it’s no surprise that the schedule is always full with meetings, conferences and shows. Mark your calendar to attend some of the upcoming events, like the International Gem & Jewelry Show, the 34th Annual Spring Home & Garden Show or the Fort Worth Bridal Show. There is always something new to discover at the Fort Worth Convention Center.
