The Fort Worth Convention Center, built in 1968, is a distinctive landmark in the Hell’s Half Acre area of downtown Fort Worth. For 45 years, it’s been an inviting place for residents and visitors to gather for great meetings and events. At one time, it was even home to the Fort Worth Fire and Fort Worth Brahmas ice hockey teams.

This weekend, the convention center will be filled with rhythmic dances and shouts of “We’re Number One” as it hosts the American Cheerleaders Association National Championship.
