March 6 is “Celebrate Winter Day” at 17 New York ski areas. For one day only, lift tickets will be offered for as little as $12.

“This day is a perfect way to celebrate abundant snowfall and excellent conditions as we enter the month of March,” says Scott Brandi, President of ISKINY. Celebrate Winter Day will also feature discounted learn to ski packages with prices beginning at $33.

Participating ski areas:

$24 lift tickets: Gore Mountain, Whiteface Mountain, Holiday Valley Resort, Belleayre.

$12 lift tickets: West Mountain, Catamount, Thunder Ridge, Mount Peter, Tuxedo Ridge, Labrador Mountain, Toggenburg, Dry Hill, Kissing Bridge, Peek ‘n Peak Resort & Spa, Titus and Swain Resort.

Oak Mountain will be participating on Friday, March 7.

“Some of the best skiing and riding is still ahead,” says Brandi. Discount vouchers may be purchased online at the ISKINY website. Skiers and riders may present their vouchers at a participating mountain for day or evening lift tickets. Discounted learn to Ski/Snowboard packages are only valid during daytime hours at most ski areas.
