Located a couple blocks north of Garnet in PB, you may not have yet happened by Dirty Birds bar and grill. Well then, you owe it to yourself to go there on purpose.
Aside from the glorious proximity to the beach, two things distinguish Dirty Birds from other San Diego venues: Kasim Osgood spice is featured on the menu, and jalapenos are a free side dish.
If you want to capture the interest of a sentimental San Diegan, put a famous San Diego State University Aztec alum's name on your menu. If you want to endear yourself to the San Diego Bars Examiner, do the above and offer free jalapenos.
If it's any indication how much Dirty Birds has to offer, four paragraphs in and we are just now mentioning the $3 PBR Friday beer special. Yes, everyone loves drinking Pabst out of a can, but when you can get a 16oz glass of it for $3, some sacrifices are worthwhile.
Dirty Birds is Aztec (clearly) and Charger friendly, boasts a full bar, and menu and foosball. Absolutely check it out. You may start going out in PB again.
