Dirt Fest lineup released with mystery co-headliner TBA

Dirt Fest 2014, Birch Run, MI's ever growing music fest, will be headlined by Killswitch Engage on Saturday, Aug 9 at the Birch Run Expo Center. The mystery co-headliner will be revealed on July 19. As of now, there are no hints.

In their 16th year, Dirt Fest is bringing a variety of bands spanning the rock genre to suit the tastes of all in attendance. With many hard rock, metalcore, nu-metal, and other groups with genre descriptions including "psycho metal" and "WTF rock," this year's Dirt Fest is sure to bring musical variety.

Powerman 5000, Hed PE, Battlecross, Eyes Set to Kill, Smile Empty Soul, and Psychostick are just a few of the bands set to play. Many local Michigan acts are playing the fest, including It Lies Within (Flint, MI), Braided Veins (Flint, MI) and Deveraux (Lansing, MI). The full lineup is available on the Dirt Fest website.

There are currently no set times posted. As the show date gets closer, more information will be released.

Tickets are available online here for $35 or $80 for VIP. There are also several retail locations available for pickup in Clio, Flint, Bay City, Burton, Utica, and Royal Oak.

Many local bands on the fest are also selling $25 tickets. Get in touch with Ana (Flint, MI) or another local band for more information.

Dirt Fest is Saturday, Aug 9 at the Birch Run Expo Center in Birch Run, MI. Gates open rain or shine at 11:30 a.m. for VIP ticket holders and 12 p.m. for everyone else.
