DiRT 3 given release date along with new video and screenshots

Codemasters has announced the official release date for DiRT 3 and provided some new screenshots and a video to go along with it.

DiRT 3 will be released worldwide on May 24, 2011 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. The game will make use of 'gymkhana' which is different from traditional rally racing as it is more like an obstacle course where drivers must perform certain drifting stunts and spins while achieving the best time.

The video included stars English TV presenter Neil Cole being given the chance to take DiRT 3 for a test spin in some of the very first gameplay footage. Of course, gets to test the game out in a pretty sweet driving setup too.
