“The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones” director took to Tumblr today to share a picture from a meeting he had with actor Godfrey Gao. “I caught up with the brilliant Godfrey Gao over breakfast this morning to discuss the movie,” said Zwart.
Godfrey Gao plays fan favorite Magnus Bane in highly anticipated film based on the first book of Cassandra Clare’s Mortal Instruments series. MTV recently shared an exclusive interview and first look at Gao as the high warlock Bane.
Zwart has been meeting with various cast from the film. Recently actor Kevin Zegers spoke of his meeting with the director telling fans to “prepare to have your minds blown.”
"The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" premieres August 23.
