Ending world hunger has brought together some extraordinary celebrities to the stage in London on Sunday night with 2,000 people in attendance. Natalie Cole and Dionne Warwick were part of the Hunger Project Concert at the Apollo Victoria with all the proceeds going to the charity event.
“I’m thrilled to host this concert to raise awareness and funds to ensure the work of The Hunger Project continues and to inspire everyone with my personal mantra – ‘if you can think it, you can do it,” says Dionne Warwick.
The concert was followed by an after party to celebrate the success of the event and cake for the spectacular celebration of the Warwick’s 70th Birthday. The idea behind the concert as well as the creation of World Hunger Day is to raise awareness and increase donations for the global effort.
