Dinosaurs Come Alive at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds

Discover the Dinosaurs is for the entire family and especially kids, to explore the mystery of pre historic life in an enviroment of learning, discovery, and fun. The event will be on Friday, March 1st through Sunday, March 3rd at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds.

The event is a unique hands on exhibit that consists of 60 museum quality and animatronic dinosaurs. Participants have the opportunity to get close and touch the dinosaurs. There will also be other attractions at the event such as dino rides, dino theater, dino painting and mini golf.

"The Discover the Dinosaurs is a hands on museum for kids. Kids eyes glow when they walk in," said Steve Rosholt, show manager for the Discover the Dinosaurs.

The goal of the event is to create a fun enviroment of learning and activity that explores the mystery of pre historic past. Dinosaurs are postitioned safely throughout the exhibit, so guests can touch and feel the robots which is the conerstone of the experience.
