Terrible Lizards! That’s what the name Dinosaur literally means. They roamed the earth for a very long time; however they will only be available at The Louisville Zoo for the next few weeks.
While taking the tour; I was surprised to see an 85 foot tall Dino-neck peering over the shrubbery at me. It seemed to move. It did move! Then I heard it grunt! This can’t be…I mean it’s impossible.
I turned the corner and saw the next great creature. This one was smaller and I could actually look him in the eye; which seemed to move! Now, wait a minute. I haven’t had a medical exam in awhile; although I’ve felt fine.
How could it be? I saw on the information board a honey emerald cube with a mosquito inside. In the background we could hear the theme music to Jurassic Park; then I saw a baby Dinosaur hatch.
That’s when it happened. One growled at me! I ran so fast out of there, I barely saw that there was a gift shop. I remember running past a carnivorous Dino having his lunch. I’ve never been so scarred in my life.
1824 was when the first remains were discovered; that’s less than 200 years ago. We are still discovering and learning about the vast empire of these great creatures. Where can you go and actually see them nowadays. Virtually nowhere; except the Louisville Zoo.
