Support Dylan Beach on Friday, March 28th and attend the “Dinner with Dylan” fundraiser. The fundraiser held at St. James Elementary school, located at 500 Lave Avenue in St. James, begins at 6pm until 10pm. Admission of $30.00 for adults and $10.00 for children 12 and over includes dinner, raffles, crafts, giveaways and music.

Dylan Beach was only 2 years old when he began to battle cancer. After removable of the cancerous brain tumor, he endured six months of intensive chemotherapy and stem cell rescue/transplant, spending weeks at a time at Schneider Children Hospital in New Hyde Park. Dylan was in remission for nearly three years when a routine scan in March 2012 revealed a recurrent tumor. He had surgery and was back to kindergarten just one week later.

After staying in remission for another nineteen months, the tumor returned in November 2013. The tumor was removed but the recurrence has necessitated additional treatment. He continues to be closely monitored by neurosurgery and pediatric oncology at Cohen Children's Medical Center while undergoing proton beam radiation at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Dylan is a 7 1/2 year old second grader attending St. James Elementary school. He lives in St. James with his parents Amy and Brian, and younger sister Melissa.
