One of the most exciting attractions in Cincinnati is the Cincinnati Dinner Train (CDT). A delicious Valentines Day dinner is served to passengers as they travel through the scenic Queen City on a three-hour excursion. Trains are romantic but when included with Valentine's Day dinner in a restored 1940's vintage railroad car; well the day can't get much better.
Starting January 7, 2013, the Cincinnati Dinner Train reservation office will open on a part time basis. The phones are answered on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. only. Leave a message after hours with your phone number and the reservation office will return calls during regular hours.
The train isn't just for holidays, a reservation can be made online using the online reservation link for any dinner train ride. The next train will run on Sunday, January 20, 2013, leaving the station at 1:00 p.m. and arriving back at the station at 4:00 p.m.
The Valentine’s Day Dinner Train in Cincinnati will depart at 6:00 p.m. from the station on Thursday, February 14, 2012 and every Saturday after the holiday the 6:00 p.m. train will run.
The Cincinnati Dinner Train diner cars were constructed in the 1940's, and therefore are not handicap accessible. Cancellations are permitted up to 72 hours prior to trip departure, if made before 72 hours you will get a full refund or may reschedule for a future date, if you notify us within 3 days, CDT will give you the option to re-book for a future date.
