Dine in Sedona, Arizona

Sedona's red rocks; see, stay, and Dine in Sedona. (albw)

Sedona, Arizona  is hot and so is their cuisine scene.

Sedona offers up an array of dining experiences, but is now offering up its second annual culinary tour, Dine in Sedona.  The idea is to show off what Sedona has to offer in gastronomy with prix-fixed meals at a variety of restaurants. Yes, the meals are prix-fixed, but foodies can still have choices when it comes to the courses.

Restaurants are grouped into three categories from modest to elegant, with all serving prix-fixed three-course meals. The modest category meals run 19.95, while classic restaurants run 29.95, and elegant 39.95. Drinks are separate, but many restaurants offer up signature mixtures to go along with the meals or even a wine-pairing package for each course.

It’s at the tail end for this year, ending on June 27, but it’s not too late if you’ll just hop to it. But if not, the restaurants are good to hit any time of the year plus you’ll have ample notice to plan for next year’s 16- day Dine in Sedona tour.

My mouth’s watering now for the vanilla bean crème brulee at Silver Saddle at the Cowboy Club  (where buffalo is a course choice) and Yavapai at Enchantment’s roasted salmon.

For more information check out Sedona’s Chamber of Commerce or give them a call at 928-204-1123.

From Dallas fly into Flagstaff and drive the 25 or so miles over to Sedona.
