From now until November 27th, Dine Around Seattle highlights 50 restaurants in the Seattle area who are offering a three course prix fixe menu for $30.00 from Sunday to Thursday. This bargain enables people to frequent new restaurants including Hunger, a new restaurant that opened in May 2012 in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle, WA.
As stated on their website, Hunger's philosophy is simple "Create exciting shareable dishes utilizing the freshest local seasonal ingredients along with quality meat and seafoods.” Their menu rotates depending on the availability of local ingredients with offerings ranging from small bites to their signature family size paella that serves up to 12 people. Other favorites include their holy smokes burger, cassoulet, chocolate espresso torte and award winning stuffed dates. Cap off the meal with fresh brewed Cafe Umbria coffee.
While Hunger has more of an adult feel, they do get children in for the lunch, brunch and the early evening seatings. They don't have a kids menu but they can accommodate children by whipping up say a plate of buttered noodles or a plain cheeseburger.
Hunger is open for lunch Wednesday to Friday from 11am to 3pm with dinner served Sunday through Thursday from 4:30pm to 9:00pm and 4:30m to 10:00pm on Friday and Saturday. Also, check out their brunch on Saturday and Sunday featuring a bottomless mimosa served from 10:30am to 2:30pm. Hunger has paired with Open Table and reservations are strongly recommended for dinner and brunch.
Also, Hunger has become known for their Happy Hour starting from 4pm to closing seven days a week. Use their happy hour to wrap up any emails before making your drink selection from among the local beers on top or their selection of 65 bourbons, whiskeys and ryes.
And for a memorable evening, check out there Chef's counter dining experience. Here four people sit at the counter on the side of the kitchen where they are treated to an all inclusive 7 course menu with wine and cocktail pairings.
