A rumor has been going around that Dina Manzo's assistant, Luke McKibben, was fired because he didn't want to appear in the sixth season of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" with her. Turns out that it's not true. On Monday, Dec. 30, Rumor Fix reported on the inaccuracy of the rumor.
Luke McKibben told Rumor Fix that he is indeed leaving the job but not because he was fired for refusing to appear in the sixth season. He said that he's leaving simply because he wants to go back to the UK to concentrate on a radio career. Plus, he said that he is in fact filming for the sixth season.
As for the rumor that Luke doesn't like fellow "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice, Luke said that it's also not true. He implied that another housewife is the cause of the rumors.
“This also is not true. This really is a nasty rumor, but I think we all know who spread it," he said.
Who could Luke be referring to? Could it be Caroline Manzo, who reportedly still has a fractured relationship with Dina, or Jacqueline Laurita, who implied that Dina's return was the cause of her departure?
Luke McKibben recently seemed to share that he sometimes wonder if leaving Dina Manzo's side is what's right for him.
"Laying wide awake wondering if this next step is the right one to take... But I'll never know unless I leap!" he tweeted on Monday.
