Dina Manzo, former star of “Real Housewives of New Jersey,” has landed a new project that is based on her own life now that she is single. Deadline exclusively reported on Feb. 12 that the reality housewife has signed a deal with Al Roker Entertainment for this collaboration.
This part-documentary, part-reality series will be documenting Manzo’s life now that her seven year marriage to Tommy Manzo is over. It is said that they will go behind the scenes of her new life to explore the kind of world she really lives in, which will be different than what viewers may expect. Manzo said, “I think viewers will be surprised at the type of show this will be.” The well-known weatherman’s production company has produced such shows as “Coast Guard Alaska” on The Weather Channel and HGTV’s “Celebrity Holiday Homes.” Al Roker seems to be getting around as well.
Manzo left “Real Housewive of New Jersey during season two and is now designing party spaces on HGTV’s “Dina’s Party.” Another new project she has on her loaded plate is an online soap called “Tainted Dreams.” It doesn’t sound like she is missing all the drama with the other housewives much anymore.
