Dina Manzo excited about new co-stars and new season of 'RHONJ'

Dina Manzo left “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” half way through the second season after a blow-out with then co-star Danielle Staub. After leaving, fans found out that Dina and her sister Caroline Manzo were estranged. Caroline placed the blame on fellow “RHONJ” Teresa Giudice.

Caroline Manzo has moved on to her own reality show, “Manzo’d with Children,” and Dina Manzo is back as one of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.” According to a report Friday, May 16, Dina is pleased with her decision to return to “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.”

In an interview Dina said that she thinks the fans will enjoy the sixth season. Manzo noted that taping this season of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” will be a great season and that the three new “Real Housewives of New Jersey cast members brought a refreshing and good vibe to the group.

The three new “Real Housewives of New Jersey” include breast cancer survivor Amber Marchese as well as identical twin sisters Teresa Aprea and Nicole Napolitano. As fans know, Caroline Manzo has left “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” as well as sister-in-law Jacqueline Laurita. The new ladies will bring a new dynamic to the group.

Teresa and Rino Aprea, married the first time in 1991, have an 18-year-old son Giovanni. The couple divorced, but remarried in 2002. Together they own the award-winning Angelo of Mulberry Street, as well as Ponte Vecchi, the hottest restaurant in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Nicole Napolitano is the divorced mother of two teenage boys. Fans will get a glimpse into her life as she tries to juggle her family with her career and a boyfriend of whom her family does not approve. According to her bio on Bravo’s website she loves cooking dinner at home with her family, watching movies with some popcorn and hot cocoa with a fire burning.

Amber Marchese is a breast cancer survivor and founder of her own fitness brand, Vici Fitness. At the age of 36 with two children under three years old, Marchese was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to undergo a double mastectomy and chemotherapy. Amber has been cancer-free for five years and keeps busy not only with her business but her two children and two step-children.

"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" returns to the Bravo line-up at 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 13. Teresa Giudice and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga are returning to the show, but Giudice's cousin Kathy Wakile has been relegated to "friend of the housewives" this year. Kathy's sister and fan favorite Rosie Pierri will also be back for the sixth season.
