Dina Mano and Tommy Manzo are ending their seven year marriage, and have been separated since October, Dina Manzo tweeted just after midnight on Saturday, Feb. 2 to nearly 300,000 Twitter followers.
The former “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star tweeted:
“My secret…I have been separated since October, my heart hurts but Tommy & I will always share a very special love. So grateful for the support of my loved ones during this time, especially my spiritual friends. You know who u are xoxo.”
Dina also thanked her 17-year-old daughter Lexi for her support, tweeting, “And of course my biggest supporter Lexi, Tommy adores her and they will remain close.”
Dina Manzo married Tommy in 2005 and their wedding was featured on VH-1’s “My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding.” Tommy, with brother Albert Manzo, owns The Brownstone in Paterson, N.J.
Albert Manzo is married to Dina’s older sister Caroline, making them sisters-in-law as well as sisters. Allegedly Dina has been estranged from Caroline for some time because of her friendship with friendship with Teresa Giudice. Caroline and Teresa had a major falling out at the end of season three of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” that spilled over and exploded during season four of “RHONJ.” Caroline Manzo has blamed Giudice for causing the estrangement with her sister Dina.
Dina’s marriage to Tommy Manzo was her second. The interior decorator was previously married to George Hadjiapostoli.
