Not a day goes by that we don't hear about Lindsay Lohan and the trouble that seems to follow her around and wonder what happened? Lindsay's mom Dina claims that Lindsay's problems are a direct result of witnessing domestic violence as a child (NY Daily News, Jan 6).
Dina says Lindsay "saw a lot of crazy stuff. I want the world to know the root of her problems” at one point Lindsay saw a photograph of Dina after “Michael beat the hell out of me,” and told her mom to "Tell the world! Talk about it!.’ The 22 year marriage was filled with beatings, rape and drugs all which surrounded a young Lindsay.
Dina, who has long been criticized for enabling Lindsay, partying with her instead of being her mom says “Lindsay saw her dad abuse me — that’s why she’s so screwed up.” During the interview Dina shared medical and police records to back up her claims.
Michael denies all of Dina's claims and calls them "evil lies."
Lindsay did not appear in court this morning regarding the misdemeanor assault charges stemming from a night club altercation with Tiffany Ava Mitchell. Apparently Mitchell attempted to read Lohan's fortune, Lindsay declined but Mitchell did not comply with her wishes and "other individuals became very aggressive. Lindsay Lohan did not commit any crime, she did not assault anyone, all she did is verbally request her privacy."
The case is continuing and Lindsay will appear in court "when there is an accusatory document."
