Dilworth Coffee at Kenilworth Commons

As with most cafes, one is greeted with the intoxicating aroma of coffee upon entering the original Dilworth Coffee at Kenilworth Commons. Unlike some of the more commercialized coffeehouses, however, one is also welcomed by the employees. While the coffee, espresso, and other beverages are indeed magnificent, it's the baristas that make this a place worthy of a return trip.

Those drinks are expertly-made--I've even somehow earned a design in the foam of my latte on several occasions. Plus, the employees are eager to provide suggestions and advice and obviously have an excess of knowledge to share. I've tried many of the coffee blends and flavored lattes, and none have ever disappointed.

If customers are looking for beans to brew themselves, they can select from a wall of wonderfully flavored and diversely roasted beans which can be bought whole or taken to the back and ground finely or coarsely, depending on what is desired. The atmosphere is quiet and cozy, and this has quickly become one of my favorite places to enjoy a fine drink and relaxing break.
