Dillingham FSS, and frequencies change

Pilots flying to Southwest Alaska specifically the Bristol Bay should be aware that the Dillingham Flight Service Station has moved according to an FAA letter.

Effective Dec. 17, 2013 the Dillingham FSS is located in a new building at the Dillingham Airport/ PADL. The new address is 760 Airport road, Building 450. The FSS is located on the northern end of the East Apron.

Along with the move into a new location, the Dillingham AWOS frequency is being changed to match the AFIS frequency of 125.0 MHz.

The Dillingham FSS hours of operation will remain the same: form 7:45 a.m.- 9:45 p.m.7 days a week.

Should pilots have any questions the may contact Dillingham FSS at 907-842-5275, or Kenai FSS at 907-283-3735.

The Bristol Bay community of Dillingham is located 330 miles Southwest of Anchorage.
