DIG is an antique shoppers plant shop in Walterboro, SC (Photos)

DIG is a decorative plant shop in the Antiques District of Walterboro, SC. It is in an old store front with large windows and lots of light. They have many things in antique pots, wood logs, on antique trunks and old tables. They have a lot to offer the antique shopper and collector. They put many of the things together themselves. It is not the kind of shop where they just take plants off the truck and set them out in rows. Everything has a personal touch. You can tell someone has a green thumb.

DIG stands for design, interiors and garden. They specialize in plants for interior decorating with antiques and classic things. Some things have an industrial style.

It is well worth the trip from Charleston, Edisto Beach or Kiawah to find such a nice collection of antiques friendly plants. They have a lot of beautiful ferns and soft spongy reindeer lichens covering the pots that you will not find anywhere else.

Their exact address is 225 E. Washington St., Walterboro, SC, 29488. Their phone number is 843-782-4322. Their website is under construction and it is www.digdesignshop.com. Christy Scott and Morrison Payne run the shop.
