Dietary supplement helps maintain healthy blood sugar levels

Currently, approximately 25.8 million people in the United States suffer from diabetes. According to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, since 1997, diabetes has been the sixth leading cause of death in the county; in addition, it has become an important cause of premature death (death before age 75). Cinnamon helps optimize insulin function and aids enzymes that help the body store blood sugar as glycogen.

Dr. Cantillon explained that a number of clinical studies indicate cinnamon’s effectiveness. They suggest that cinnamon significantly helps people trying to maintain their blood sugar levels improve their ability to respond to insulin. Research found that the cinnamon produced an approximately 20% drop in blood sugar; cholesterol and triglycerides were lowered as well. A study most recently performed by the US Agricultural Research Service found that cinnamon actually reduces blood sugar levels in individuals with type 2 diabetes.

Panax ginseng complements cinnamon’s ability to optimize insulin function by helping to manage blood glucose levels while stimulating hormones that aid in insulin release. Ginseng is an adaptive that works through the adrenal glands to help the body adapt to and cope with stresses such as fatigue and anxiety. It increases oxygen uptake and related workload within the body.

Dr. Cantillon noted that he evaluated CinG-X as a component of his research on Alzheimer’s disease. He found that when taken for 30 to 40 days under ordinary circumstances, CinG-X has been shown to help support healthy blood glucose levels, maintain healthy cholesterol and triglyceride levels, support memory and cognitive functions, and increase energy levels. The CinG-X proprietary formulation contains highly processed forms of cinnamon and panax ginseng. The compound has a patented ratio, which helps improve brain function while managing healthy blood sugar levels.

Supplementing the diet with CinG-X may help maintain healthy blood sugar levels, lessen feelings of fatigue, and help support cognitive function, including memory.
