Diet Pepsi was one of the major sponsors of Mercedes-Benz fashion week. There was a Jonathan Adler-designed Diet Pepsi Refresh Studio in the Grand Lobby at Lincoln Center where guests had access to an unlimited supply of Diet Pepsi in addition to other free giveaways. There was also a display of four Diet Pepsi inspired Christian Cota designed looks. Christian Cota unveiled the fifth and final look at his Fall 2010 Collection presentation at The Standard Hotel. The designs in the Diet Pepsi x Christian Cota capsule collection reflect Cota’s refreshing take on generations of vintage Diet Pepsi graphics and how he translates them into prints while the collection’s iconic silhouettes capture styles inspired from the 1960’s to modern day. These silhouettes include shift dresses, off-the-shoulder jersey sweaters and skinny cuffed pants. Silk fabrics in the collection range from retro plaids to multi-colored prints, giving the collection an iconic sentiment while reflecting the Diet Pepsi brand personality.
