Country star Dierks Bentley announced today that he will bring his popular Country & Cold Cans Tour back to the U.S. with about 20 dates, to be announced in the coming weeks. Joining Bentley on the road will be Republic Nashville's Eli Young Band, plus Will Hoge and The Cadillac Black in the opening spot.
Country & Cold Cans will be kicking off in Los Angeles in April 13th at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. Tickets for this first show will go on sale on February 10th, with other cities and on-sale dates to come at a later date. Here's hoping that Dierks makes a stop in Sacramento, since he's starting his tour in Los Angeles.
Dierks recalled the last leg of the Country & Cold Cans Tour in a recent press release, "Country & Cold Cans was such a great tour last fall...it's just way too much fun to stop and we knew we had to continue it into the spring and make another run across the U.S. when we get home from Canada and Australia. We're even going to Alaska...giving new meaning to COLD cans," he laughed. "I'm excited that EYB is coming out with us again...great dudes and they put on a killer show. I'm also a big fan of both The Cadillac Black and Will Hoge, so I'm looking forward to watching their sets every night."
Bentley is counting down the days to the release of his sixth studio album, Home, which hits stores on February 7th. The title cut on the album is nominated for an ACM Award for Song of the Year, as it continues its rise on the Country Songs chart, zeroing in on the Top 10. The lead single from the album, "Am I The Only One" was recently Gold certified, for over 500,000 downloads, and it also spent time at the top of the charts. To date, Dierks has sold over five million total album sales and he's received 10 Grammy nominations.
