The Country Music Association has partnered up with public television’s concert series “Front and Center” to present two different concert specials featuring country music superstars Dierks Bentley and Lady Antebellum. The shows are scheduled to be broadcast in the 2014 Fall season.

The Lady Antebellum special will feature the CMA award winning group and special guests, and Dierks Bentley will perform in a special 10th Anniversary CMA Songwriters series where he will be joined by songwriters Jim Beavers, Ross Copperman, Brett James and Jon Randall. Both episodes will be taped later this month in Nashville, to be broadcast this fall prior to the 2014 CMA Awards.

“CMA resides at the epicenter of Country Music’s past, present, and future. It is an honor and a privilege to be partnering not only with such a prestigious organization, but with an organization that truly understands the bedrock upon which the genre is built – the songwriters and its performers,” said Don Maggi, Executive Producer in a press release, “Front and Center.” “Lady Antebellum and Dierks Bentley are two of Country Music’s best and the shows that have been created for their fans will be shows that nobody will want to miss.”

For the past 10 years, the CMA Songwriters series has featured artists that have made their living writing the hits you hear on country radio. It started as a show at Joe’s Pub in New York City in 2005, but has since gone on the road to cities like Boston, Los Angeles, Phoenix and overseas cities like Belfast, Dublin and Paris.
