Diem Brown was diagnosed with colon cancer a little over a week ago. The reality star made famous by MTV is currently in a New York area hospital after undergoing two surgeries. According to FOX News, this is the third time that Brown has had to battle the terrible disease. She was first diagnosed with ovarian cancer in her early 20's, and the cancer returned in the same place over a decade later.

Diem's sister, Megan, talked about what happened after Diem collapsed while filming a new reality show.

"Doctors found one tumor blocking her colon completely so they had to do emergency surgery that evening to remove the blockage. They were able to remove the mass, but once they were inside they found out there were multiple tumors."

Diem Brown has had both of her ovaries, several lymph nodes, and a fallopian tube removed from her body. She is expected to start her third round of chemotherapy in two weeks, if her body is strong enough. It has not been an easy time for Diem, who likely is shocked that cancer has attacked her body again.

Fans are hopeful that Diem will be able to pull through this and beat cancer for a third time. Many have been sending their well wishes to her via social media, and while she may not be active, her sister says that she takes the time to read the encouraging words. Megan has even read some of the messages to Diem this past week to show her just how many people are pulling for her.
