'Die Hard' does well in theaters

It was a good weekend to die hard as Bruce Willis' fifth installment on the 'Die Hard' sequel did well in movie theaters. A Good Day to Die Hard brought in an amazing $25 million on opening night, causing it to lead the way in box office sales.

John McClane (Willis) was joined by his son Jack (Jai Courtney) in the thriller that travels from the United States to Russia in search of justice. John discovers that his son is a CIA agent, and teams up with him to take down underworld forces who are trying to start a nuclear war.

Identity Thief and Safe Haven also did well at the box office, with the comedy bringing in a remarkable $23.4 million and the love story earning $21.4 million.
