Sean “Diddy” Combs drank too much Kool-Aid when he was kid. The entertainer revealed on the Ellen DeGeneres show that he wet his bed as child, according to a Mar. 1 E! News report. The 43-year-old made the brave confession while on the show with his pal Mark Wahlberg. The duo was on the show to discuss their partnership to launch the new AQUAhydrate water brand.
Elaborating on his bed wetting, Diddy admitted that he never drank water and blamed it all on Kool-Aid. “One thing I want to say is, I grew up as a Kool-Aid kid," Diddy said. “I used to pour a half a pound of sugar into the Kool-Aid. Besides it having me bouncing off the walls, I used to be a bed wetter.”
He continued with an explanation of the origin of his swagger, “OK, I guess I'm confessing that I used to be a bed wetter,” adding, “So I went on this quest to stop wetting the bed, and the first day I had a sleepover and I didn't wet the bed, it was, like, one of the greatest days of my life. It gave me the swagger that I have today because I stopped wetting the bed.”
It was not all about the confession. The entertainer had advice for his young fans too. “And it's something about sugar that makes you wet the bed. So to all you boys and girls out there, as Muhammad Ali used to tell you to brush your teeth, I'm telling you to drink water, OK? It will stop you from wetting the bed, and you won't be embarrassed in front of girls at sleepovers.”
Apparently, Diddy’s sleepovers included girls.
